Mrs. Beth Pavinich

In December of 2002 I graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s of Science in Family and Consumer Science Education. I began teaching at Delaware Valley High School in December of 2003. For 12 years I taught several Family and Consumer Sciences courses. I taught courses including Intermediate Foods A and B, 9th Grade Family and Consumer Sciences, Parenting Skills, and Freshman Seminar. 5 years ago I was also presented with the opportunity to begin teaching in the Career and Technical Education area of the high school as the Early Childhood Education Level 1 teacher. This course primarily includes 10 grade students who are interested in working with children in some capacity. We spend 2-3 days a week in class studying infants through age 3 and the other 2-3 days a week rotating between 4 local Early Learning Centers gaining hands on experience working with children.
