Students in Algebra 2 were challenged with putting together 24-piece jigsaw puzzles with their eyes closed! Students worked in small groups; group members collaborated to give the blindfolded puzzle master verbal directions on how to put together their puzzle. Only the puzzle master was allowed to touch the pieces. This activity focused on enhancing students' conversational and listening skills.

    "Deep Dive" FBLA Connect Training
The Delaware Valley Future Business Leaders of America chapter officers (accompanied by 2 advisers) had the privilege of attending a “DEEP DIVE” FBLA Connect Training at Keystone College in La Plume, PA.  The conference took place on Thursday, September 5th and focused on how to properly utilize “FBLA Connect”, which is an extremely powerful suite of tools to manage an FBLA chapter.  Our officers learned how to use recordkeeping tools for essential records such as minutes, budgets, tools to maintain service hours, our own chapter’s calendars, forms, membership management and other communication tools.  The chapter officers that attended were senior President Anna Vogel, senior Reporter Bennett Nielsen, junior Treasurer Ava Troup, and junior Community Service Director Vidhi Patel.  Audrey Dennis and Jeff Luhrs were the two advisers in attendance.  Delaware Valley FBLA is looking forward to the upcoming State Leadership Workshop that will be taking place at Kalahari Resort in early November.

Business & Marketing - Media Day
The Delaware Valley Business and Marketing Career Technical Education class has hit the ground running to start the school year.  They have been tasked with creating digital content for the new Warrior Stadium scoreboard.  They have worked with coaches, advisers, local businesses, sponsors from the community, and administrators.  On Tuesday September 10 – Wednesday September 11, Delaware Valley hosted its first ever “Media Day” where all student athletes had the opportunity to get photos and videos taken to use for future content of the scoreboard and other publications.  The Business and Marketing CTE is looking forward to promoting as many clubs, activities, sports, and events as possible throughout the school year.  Having these opportunities to create media for not only our school district, but for the community itself is an incredible opportunity for the Business and Marketing CTE program.
