This intramural program is very rigorous and physically demanding. The scope and depth of the growing effect of Oriental culture on contemporary American Society is studied intensely. It incorporates students’ studying the martial arts, the visual arts, and the healing arts of the Far East. In order to do this, one should be advised that there will be physical contact between and among students and the instructor. Mr. Marcial has been studying the martial arts for 27 years. He is ranked as a 1st degree Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, 3rd degree Black Belt in USA Goju Ryu and 2nd degree Black Belt in O’Domhnaill Ryu Aiki Bujutsu. He is the founder and head instructor of the Kara Aiki Budo system.
In this course, as in any physical activity, there is always risk of personal injury. It is advisable to get clearance from a physician before training. In addition, to limit the risk of personal injury, the participants must agree to abide by the set curriculum and instruction of the Sensei.
