• music notes 6th Grade Chorus is a wonderful introduction into delving deeper into the choral art.  This is the first year that students receive a grade in chorus. 

    As students are becoming acquainted with the choral art they may be asked to sing scales and other vocal exercises, as well as the repertoire that will be taught.  This may be done alone and/or with others.  Students primarily sing music in 2- and 3- part .  Music is chosen from standard choral repertoire, and includes folk songs, arrangements of classical works, and secular and sacred works from a variety of cultures, in various languages.
