Jim Depuy was a member of the class of 1974 of Delaware Valley High School. After high school he attended the University of New Hampshire where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Zoology in 1978. Graduate studies followed in biology at Yale and then Medical School at Temple from which he graduated in 1983. He served a surgical internship at Stamford Hospital, a Residency in orthopedic Surgery at Yale-new haven Hospital and was Chief Resident of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at Yale-New haven from 1983 through 1988. He held a Sports Medicine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in 1988-89. He is the winner of the James M. Carey Award for Outstanding Orthopedic Research in 1988. Dr. Depuy was Board Certified in orthopedic Surgery in 1991. His research and presentations included a September 1989 article in the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics and a presentation on Labral Anatomy before the American orthopedic Society for Sports medicine in June of 1989. Currently he practices Orthopedic Medicine in Danbury and Ridgefield Connecticut.
