Congratulations to the engineering team of Darian Dzirko, Todd Evans, Brandon Haraldsen, Matt Madsen, and John Moricone for winning the CIU20 Regional PA Governor’s STEM Challenge, with their design and prototyping of the “Helios” hand-held ice melting system. The judges at the competition were especially impressed with their teamwork and their creativity. The competition included presentations on their design and on engineering challenges in the community, as well as a surprise design challenge. The team now moves onto the State competition in May.
