Curriculum Revision and Textbook Adoption Schedule
2023-2024
September 21 – meet with department chairs to decide which curricula need a revision and any courses need a new textbook adoption
October/November – department chairs get quotes for books, samples, and start the textbook evaluation process
January 31 – first unit/marking period of revised curricula to first reader
March 1 – textbook evaluation forms and textbook recommendation forms completed and sample textbooks in hand
April 2 – completed curricula to first reader
April 29 – completed curricula to second reader
May 9 – curricula and textbooks sent to the school board for review
May 17-June 12 – textbooks available at Milford Public Library
June 20 – revised curricula and new textbook adoption to school board for approval
