Social Studies National Honor Society: Rho Kappa

This club is open to rising juniors and seniors who have demonstrated scholastic success, good character, leadership skills and have had community service experience.  The purpose of this organization is to; develop and further a passion for social studies as well as; social studies related topics and fields through service in the community and; a promotion of leadership and a development of character within its members at Delaware Valley High School. The minimum GPA for social studies classes is an unweighted 3.50. The overall cumulative GPA is a minimum of a weighted 3.50. They should have also scored at least a 3 on 1 AP social studies exam. Rho Kappa will meet regularly to discuss the service activities that are designed to take place in the school or in the community.
