Delaware Valley Among Best in the Nation for Music Education 9 Consecutive Years!

Join us in celebrating Delaware Valley School District being recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation for the ninth year in a row!

Delaware Valley School District is proud to receive this award, which is given to the top 5 percent of school districts in the United States. Only 738 districts out of the 16,800 districts across America earned this designation this year.  This designation is given to schools and districts that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music instruction.  We applaud our teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders for their outstanding efforts and support of music education being an integral part of a well-rounded education for all children.

Delaware Valley provides music instruction for all students in grades K-12. Course offerings include general music, chorus, band, jazz band, orchestra, music theory, and guitar. Delaware Valley music students participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including marching band, pep band, chamber choir, pit orchestra, and numerous music festivals at the district, regional, state, and national levels.
