Blind Date...

DDMS students were invited to go on a "Blind Date" with a library book for Valentine's Day.  Students could choose from a variety of books, but the only thing they knew about it in advance was the genre of the book.  All of the books were wrapped in paper and students could bring their selection to the check out counter where they could unwrap the story. They were given a month to read the book and had to fill out a "Rate- Your-Date" slip which entered them into a raffle for chocolate covered strawberries.  There were over 40 entries into the competition and two winners: sixth-grader Patti Albro and seventh-grader Tobias Shedd.
