Mr. Koretz's class recently completed an apple mummification project while
studying the Ancient Egyptians. Students carved apples using straws to represent
Ancient Egyptian tools used to remove organs. They then salted the apple and
wrapped it using toilet paper and placed them in a happy meal box which
represented the Ancient Egyptian's tomb. The students will revisit their apples
in 40 days to see if they were properly dried out much like the Ancient

parts) from her Ancient Egyptian (apple).
