Coronavirus Update

This Tuesday, March 17, the Delaware Valley School District will be open from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. to distribute food and to allow students to sign-out Chromebooks if needed.

The following school cafeterias will be open:

  • Delaware Valley High School 11-12 Cafeteria – use café exterior door

  • Dingman-Delaware Elementary School Cafeteria – use side door by fifth grade

  • Shohola Elementary School Cafeteria – use side door by gym

Our cafeterias have perishable food inventory including milk, bread, produce and cold meat that won’t last until we reopen school so we want to distribute it to DV families in need.  To prevent a large group from forming inside posing a potential health risk, individuals will line up outside and be admitted in small groups.  Please be ready to present proof of residency such as a drivers’ license or student ID before being admitted.

If families don’t have a home computer or the kids are fighting over the family computer, Chromebooks can be signed out and used until we return.  Parents/guardians will be required to sign paperwork accepting responsibility for the Chromebook and pledging to return the device as soon as school reopens.

If you have questions, please email us at askdv@dvsd.org or respond to us on social media.

We hope everyone is doing their best to stay at home and practicing the recommended tips to keep yourselves healthy.
