Delaware Valley Cheerleaders and their coach, Mrs. Jen Marchetti, welcomed the Hudson Valley Honor Flight on April 13. Michael Rydell, superintendent of Port Jervis City Schools, generously offered them room on their bus to participate in showing gratitude and honor to our local retired veterans. There were four veterans from Milford and Matamoras be a part of this flight: Don Bianchi, James Marione, Leonard Muir and Sally Taylor. Ms. Vivian Bruno, school social worker who arranged the event, was grateful for the opportunity for the students to surprise local veterans with enthusiasm, signs and cheer.  This opportunity was a great way to collaborate with DV's neighboring school, as well as their faculty and students for a great cause.
