Horatio Alger Scholarship is Open!
Applying for Horatio Alger scholarship just got easier. To make it easier for your students, please review this letter and note that there is no longer a requirement that they have community service. Please have your students begin applying today.
If you have current students, under the age of 30 in the Fall 2017, and they will be continuing their education in the Fall of 2017, please have them fill out an application. We truly want to reach as many students who are
- Attending a not-for-profit post-secondary institution
- Enrolled in a career or technical degree/certificate granting program in Fall 2017 that will lead to employment
- Demonstrate financial need; applicants must be Pell eligible
- Be under the age of 30
- Be a citizen of the United States
