Individualized schedules are created
for each student, integrating foreign language, reading, computer literacy, art, music,
and unified arts into basic curriculum of language arts, mathematics, science, social
studies and physical education.
The curriculum focuses on the child as a whole with
emphasis on individual development and growth rather than primarily on academic
specialties. The variety of programs and experiences enables students to pursue
individual areas of interest and ability. One of the major purposes of the middle
school is to provide an environment, conducive to the process of education, which enables
students to make a comfortable transition from elementary school dependence to secondary
school independence.
