Our PTA is Awesome!

Did you know that our school’s P.T.A. has been meeting to plan things
for the school year? The first meeting was held on Tuesday, September 18,
2007. Even if you didn’t come to that meeting, you should mark your
calendar and try to come to the rest.
Here is some information about the officers of the PTA. Mrs. Paige
Fean used to be the president of the P.T.A. Mrs.Tammy Moglia is now the
president. The two vice presidents are Mrs. Janine Acoveno
(Vice-President) and Mrs. Fean (2nd Vice President). I had Mrs. Fean
last year, when she was the president. That was cool having the president
of the P.T.A. teaching our class.
Now back to the people who are in the P.T.A. The recording secretary is
Mrs. MaryBeth Sayles. The corresponding secretary is Mrs. Cristin
Cavallaro. The last officer is treasurer. The treasurer is Mrs. Donna
Polanis, our school’s nurse. These officers give valuable time and
energy to reward children and make learning fun throughout the year. They
help to make D.V.E.S. a magic place, and we thank them.
