Mrs. C

Ever heard of Marielle C, Mathew C, or Brenda C? Well, if you know these wonderful children you might want to know about their mother—who is also the PTA’s Corresponding Secretary?

Mrs. Kristin C became a member of the PTA in 2002 when her daughter M, was in kindergarten.  The reason why she joined is because she wanted to get involved in our wonderful school.

Like I said before, Mrs. C's part in the PTA is being the Corresponding Secretary. She wants to remain in a leadership position.

“This position lets me communicate with many people,” said Mrs. C. “The important thing about having a PTA in our school is that they get to supplement the educational experiences of our kids with the community–oriented activities. The best thing about our PTA is the total dedication to making DV a great place by our active families.”

Seeing the enjoyment on the kids’ faces when the PTA runs an event is the part Mrs. C enjoys about the PTA.  She finds the hardest part about being in involved in the PTA is balancing it with all of the other organizational/ activities she and her family are involved with.

When Mrs. C is not with the PTA, she is often at her church, St. Joseph’s.  She also coaches soccer, baseball/softball, she does the food pantry. What she does for her spare time, although she does not seem to have much spare time, is she enjoys cooking and watching her three kids play sports.  She also loves to scrapbook with her sisters-in-law and her girlfriends.

Mrs. C would like to express her thanks to all of the PTA volunteers for all they do, and to encourage more families to become involved at DVES.

            “It’s very rewarding!!” she said.

Thanks, Mrs. C, for all you do.  Thanks for the great interview, too.
