What is a Podcast?
"Podcast" is the name for a new type of audio experience,
combining your Apple® iPod® with traditional radio broadcasts. You control
your own podcasts, subscribing to the ones that you want and listening
to them when you want to.
Podcast Del Val was founded in August 2005 at the outset of podcast
popularity. It features commentary on the news and sports at Delaware
Valley straight from the mouths of high school students. Podcast Del
Val is produced sporadically in room C13-A during the fifth period lunches.
How does it work?
All you have to do is subscribe to Podcast Del Val, and iTunes
does the rest! Every time you connect your iPod to your own personal
computer (Windows or Mac, NOT A SCHOOL-OWNED COMPUTER) and synchronize
it with iTunes, the latest edition of
the podcasts
you are subscribed to automatically download.
What do I need?
Windows 2000 or XP or Mac OS X 10.2.8 or newer
iTunes 4.9 or newer (available for free
download*)
Don't have an iPod? No problem! You can still download iTunes for free
and subscribe and listen on your computer. Don't want to download iTunes?
You can click the link to download the MP3 or M4A file for the latest Podcast
Del Val and play it in your favorite audio player.
