Michael D. Retallick
Mike Retallick was a member of the Class of 1978 of Delaware valley
High School. A member of the National Honor Society, he entered Penn
State University pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, which he
obtained in 1982. Upon graduation he entered the United States Air Force
where he continued his education with a Masters Degree in national
Security and Strategic Studies in 1995; a Masters Degree in Aero
Science Technology in 1995, and a Masters Degree in Strategic
Studies in 2002. He currently holds the rank of Colonel and is Chief
of the Deployment Distribution Ops Center at Scott AFB in Illinois. Col.
Retallick has been awarded 18 awards and decorations during his twenty-three-year
career with the Air Force. He currently is rated as a Command Pilot with
thousands of hours of flight time on various aircraft.
Lewis Midlarsky
Lew Midlarsky was a member of the Class of 1989 of Delaware Valley High
School where he excelled in three varsity sports. As a wrestler he had
an overall record of 84-21 with over 50 pins. He was a 1986 District
12 Runner-up and 1987-88-89 District 12 Chapion. In 1989 he made the
All State Team while winning the 1988 and 1989 Pope Pius X Tournament
and the Delaware Valley 1988 Christmas Tournament. In soccer he was an
NAC All Star in 1987, 1988, 1989, being named League MVP in 1988 and
voted to the All-State and Regional All American Team. Lew continued
his soccer career at Kings College where he led his team in scoring
for 3 years and was MAC League points champion in 1991. He is the All
Time Leading Goal Scorer in the schools history.
Joseph McCabe
Joe McCabe was a member of the Class of 1991 of Delaware Valley High
School. In soccer he was Regional All American in 1990; NAC All Conference
1987-88-89; Pennsylvania All State in 1990; NAC Striker of the Year and
NAC MVP as well as DVHS soccer MVP in 1989 and 1990. He holds the Freshman
scoring record (15), the single season scoring record (56) and the career
scoring record at DVHS (98) as well as second place career in assists.
Joe was also an accomplished tennis player at DVHS playing on several
division championship teams and being District 12 runner up in mixed
doubles twice and doubles champion once. After graduation he attended
the United States Military Academy at West Point where he won the Army
Coach Award and he was a Graduate Assistant Coach. During his time at
West Point the soccer team was Patriot League Champions and made it to
the first round of the NCAA tournament.
James Depuy, M.D.
Jim Depuy was a member of the class of 1974 of Delaware Valley High
School. After high school he attended the University of New Hampshire
where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Zoology in 1978.
Graduate studies followed in biology at Yale and then Medical School
at Temple from which he graduated in 1983. He served a surgical internship
at Stamford Hospital, a Residency in orthopedic Surgery at Yale-new haven
Hospital and was Chief Resident of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation at
Yale-New haven from 1983 through 1988. He held a Sports Medicine fellowship
at New England Baptist Hospital in 1988-89. He is the winner of the James
M. Carey Award for Outstanding Orthopedic Research in 1988. Dr. Depuy
was Board Certified in orthopedic Surgery in 1991. His research and presentations
included a September 1989 article in the Journal of Pediatric Orthopedics
and a presentation on Labral Anatomy before the American orthopedic Society
for Sports medicine in June of 1989. Currently he practices Orthopedic
Medicine in Danbury and Ridgefield Connecticut.
