Advisors: Ms. Free and Mr. Lively Student Council is an organization in which students may find positive role models, make new friends, serve their fellow classmates and promote a sense of spirit and pride in the school and community. Student Council provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate leadership in various school activities. The DVMS Student Council is responsible for planning and organizing events for middle school students and faculty. Student Council also participates in programs that provide service to the community. Students in grades 6-8 may be members of student council. Council officials are elected by the middle school student body after the council is formed.
