The art club will consist of students from grades 7 and 8. It is an after school activity for students who are interested in the visual arts. The art club will make themed art projects in relation to the various seasons; participate in school-wide projects such as the decoration and maintenance of bulletin boards, the creation of banners and flyers and other school art related activities. The meetings will be held weekly immediately after school. It provides students with hands-on project activities and a place to explore and discuss occurrences in the art world. Members are encouraged to participate in community service projects by means of art projects.
