Art

This course is designed for middle school students at Dingman-Delaware Middle School to receive an art background which will enrich their everyday lives and build a strong foundation for future experiences in art. An understanding and appreciation of artists along with the cultural and historical context of their works will create meaningful studio experiences.

This nine-week course is made up of five units:

Drawing
Painting
Printmaking
Sculpture
Crafts

Students are exposed to each unit in all three grade levels, but the type of media varies and the process in which students apply new techniques becomes more advanced.
