Students may check out one magazine and three other items. If you need more items (maybe you are an avid reader or have several
different assignments), check with the librarians. We will work with you.
Usually items are checked out for two weeks. Sometimes an item may be given a
special due date. If that is the case, the librarian will let you know.
It is the student's responsibility to return items on time. A reminder notice may be
sent to a student, but it is the student's responsibility to check the due date on the due
date card or slip.
A fine of $.05 per item per day will be charged for materials that are returned after the
due date.
A student who has an overdue item or fine may not use the library until that problem has
been resolved.
If you need items longer, stop by and renew them. You may renew an item as many
times as necessary unless someone else is waiting for it.
You must
put your first and last name and the
time on the sign-in sheet when you enter the library. You must put the time when
you leave.
Put passes in the basket. If you have your handbook keep that with you. When
you leave you must have the pass or handbook signed.
If you do not follow procedures you may be asked to leave and you may be restricted from
using the library for a period of time.
